Meet the Executive and Board Members

President - Carrie Rasmussen

"Hi.  My name is Carrie Rasmussen and I am the President of the GHS School Council.  My husband and I have two boys: one in grade 8 and one in Grade 6.  We live on a farm north of Grimshaw and spend time rodeoing throughout the summer.  I am a playschool teacher and have been involved with early education for the past 6 years.  I have been involved with school councils and/or PAC for 9 years.  I am very passionate about children's education and I love to be involved and have in say in what goes on in my children's school(s)."

Vice President - Misty Reyda

"Hi my name is Misty Reyda and I am the Vice President of the School Council and PAC. I have two children a daughter in Grade 8 and a son in Grade 5. We live on a farm west of Grimshaw. I work as a Casual Pharmacy Technician at the Peace River Hospital. My hobbies are camping, reading, travelling and just enjoying life. I enjoy being part of this council. We bring our concerns to each meeting, learn what is happening at the school and help with any requests students and teachers need. I have been part of councils for last 6 years."

Treasurer - Connie Foster

"This is my second year being a part of the GHS school and parent council.  I grew up in the Grande Prairie area and moved to an acreage north of Grimshaw in the year 2000.  My husband and I have two daughters in this school and a son in elementary.  As a family we enjoy skidooing and camping and are involved with 4-H.  The council meetings are a lot of fun and I encourage parents to come to a meeting and see what we are about."
